A look back on some of our favorite projects…

This is a mulberry tree we cut down to the trunk, and inoculated with Oyster Mushroom spawn. A few years later it has now become a tremendously productive source of delicious and nutritious food.

Swale system with a limestone riprap retaining wall on the face. Beneath these beds are buried logs as well. All this stone was sourced from the previous wall downslope that we demolished and improved on with scavenged concrete.

Log Raised Beds They were anchored in place by rebar to stack and interlock logs, with no rocking.
Rainwater Tower. Designed so that it gravity feeds out into the garden. No hose even necessary! The water flows into a system of three swales stacked downslope of here.
